Draft for review

Deposits, changes, and cancellation

The proposed $75 deposit and 36-hour transfer policy.

Draft policy · Not active for acceptance

This document is not active for binding acceptance. Live payment actions are disabled. Final operations and wording require owner review and appropriate professional review.

When a deposit applies

A $75 deposit is required for first-time and one-time cleaning jobs. Ongoing recurring maintenance visits do not require this deposit. The deposit is credited toward the booked service total, rather than added as a surcharge. An exceptional quote below $75 requires owner resolution before payment.

The owner's proposed policy

These owner-selected commercial terms remain a draft. Mandatory cancellation or refund rights and applicable exceptions take precedence.

  • Reschedule with at least 36 hours' notice: transfer the deposit to the replacement appointment.
  • Reschedule with less than 36 hours' notice: existing deposit retained; a new deposit applies to the replacement when otherwise required.
  • Cancel without rescheduling: deposit retained even with more than 36 hours' notice, subject to applicable rights and reviewed exceptions.
  • ClearView cancels: choose a full deposit refund or transfer.

Timing and access

Notice is measured when received, not when staff reads it, using the scheduled start and actual elapsed time. Website, email, phone, and SMS notices must be documented. Customer absence is allowed with authorized working access. Any no-access retention requires reviewed facts and terms; ClearView-caused access problems are not customer no-access. No extra recurring cancellation fees or transfer limits are established here.

Before this policy goes live

Louisiana legal review, waiting period, emergency exceptions, and final retention/refund wording are required. Payments are not processed through this website.
